| Glasgow Speedway have been rocked with the news that Jayden O'Malley has been denied a work permit by the BSPA. The Australian is deemed to not have enough racing experience and therefore not eligible to race in the UK. Co-Promoter Stewart Dickson feels for the boy: "To say he is devastated is an understatement as he was all geared up to race on these shores. We saw enough of him in practice to know that would enhance racing in the UK but that has been rejected by the BSPA and now we have to see what we can do for the lad. In the meantime we will keep a very close eye on the situation with similar standard riders while we consult our legal advisors. We also must consider a replacement and we will see what develops over the next few days. |

| The 2012 version of the Glasgow Tigers speedway team is now known with the final two pieces of the jigsaw being put into place. It is a mixture of old and new with ROBERT KSIEZAK returning and JADE MUDGEWAY joining up for the first time to complete the septet. So the team for 2012 is now complete and below is the full press release reflecting on the final two names. |
